Position Title: Midnight Crisis Advocate

Supervised By: Director of Client Services

Branches Domestic Violence Shelter is a nonprofit organization that is seeking to hire for a Midnight Crisis Advocate This would be a full-time position consisting of 40 hours weekly with schedule of 12a-8a Monday-Friday. The salary for this position would start out at $32,000 annually.

Position Expectations:

Provide consistent crisis intervention

Arrange emergency services to clients as needed

Provide appropriate intake, assessment, and evaluation of a shelter candidate

Connect clients with needed and available community resources, such as social service, medical, financial, and housing contacts

Maintain all records necessary to document case management services

Enter records in database, coordinate database training and understanding with staff

Maintain a professional attitude toward clients at all times

Assist clients’ immediate needs, including but not limited to hygiene products, food, linens, cleaning products, etc.

Attend and participate in all staff meetings, trainings, and conferences (sometimes out of regular schedule) to obtain certification for agency licensure

Meet regularly with supervisor to exchange pertinent information and receive supervision

Perform administrative duties as assigned by supervisors

Report to Director problems arising with any client
