The Branches Book Club:

A Social Justice Initiative

The Branches Book Club is meant to serve as a social justice initiative which means that book choices and topics will center voices from diverse perspectives and experiences. This effort allows us to grow our understanding and educate ourselves so that we can be stronger, more effective allies in our quest for expanding social justice in our services, communities, and personal lives. Ultimately, these efforts work together to further the Branches mission and help to build a future without violence or oppression.

June, July & August
Reading Selection

For the entire summer, the Branches Book Club will be devoted to reading and exploring Lillian Faderman's "The Gay Revolution".  This book chronicles the history of the LGBTQ+ movement for equality throughout American history and is a must-read for all.

As always, you can catch up with all the latest discussion on the Facebook group page!

Hey y'all! This has been a week of fantastic fundraisers for Branches and our hearts are so grateful!

We've heard NOTHING but great things about how delicious this Double Good popcorn is, so our friends with the Fundraising Committee organized a popcorn sale fundraiser. We get 50% of the proceeds to help us serve survivors of domestic violence!  Don't wait: you can only shop June 12-June 19th!

Pick up a little treat and help us meet our fundraising goal, right here!
